USSPACECOM continues to make history with senior enlisted leader change of responsibility

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — After only one week since the historic change of command, U.S. Space Command continued its steady pace of firsts with the command senior enlisted leader change of responsibility today. U.S. Space Force Chief Master Sgt. Roger A. Towberman, who served dual-hatted as the USSPACECOM and USSF CSEL relinquished his responsibilities to U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott H. Stalker.

Army's senior space officer highlights warfighting culture, preparing Space Force for Army forces

USSPACECOM to welcome new command senior enlisted leader

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott H. Stalker is set to assume responsibility of U.S. Space Command from U.S. Space Force Chief Master Sgt. Roger A. Towberman during an Aug. 28 ceremony. The Department of Defense’s 11th combatant command is getting a new command senior enlisted leader eight days after U.S. Army Gen. James H. Dickinson assumed command from USSF Gen. John W. Raymond.

SMDC officially recognized as Army component for US Space Command

SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command is now officially recognized as an Army Service Component Command to the newly formed U.S. Space Command. The relationship was formalized with a flag unfurling ceremony Aug. 21 at Schriever Air Force Base between U.S. Army Gen. James H. Dickinson, USSPACECOM commander, and U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Daniel L. Karbler, USASMDC commanding general.
