PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. –
In his first address to the U.S. Space Command staff since taking command Aug. 20 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson discussed the combatant command’s ongoing mission, his command philosophy, diversity and inclusion and the warfighter concept. Also addressing the staff was U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott Stalker, the command's new senior enlisted leader.
Dickinson took command of USSPACECOM on Aug. 20 from U.S. Space Force Gen. John "Jay" Raymond. Stalker assumed responsibility from U.S. Space Force Chief Master Sgt. Roger Towberman on Aug. 28.
