CFSCC conducts advanced SATCOM training event with allies, partners

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. — The Combined Force Space Component Command hosted its first “Rapid Tiger” advanced training event from Mar. 28-31, 2022. Rapid Tiger 22-1 focused on commercial Satellite Communication (SATCOM), where a small team of five from the CFSCC Operations Directorate worked with several different operations centers to complete four vignettes that tested CFSCC’s capabilities to support and maintain satellite communications to the warfighter across the globe despite disruptions to the system.

PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — U.S. Space Command and the Swedish Air Force signed a Space Situational Awareness sharing agreement, Apr. 6, 2022. Major General Carl-Johan Edstrom, Commander Swedish Air Force, and U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Michael Bernacchi, USSPACECOM Director of Strategy, Plans and Policy, signed a Space Situational Awareness sharing agreement during Space Symposium 37 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — U.S. Space Command and the United Kingdom Space Command signed a Memorandum of Understanding concerning Enhanced Space Cooperation (ESC MOU) on Apr. 6, 2022.
