Delta 3, folded in tradition

PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. – — Space Electromagnetic Warfare’s tradition of folding flags, to be taken on their team’s deployments dates, back over 20 years to one of DEL 3’s predecessor, the 76th Space Control Squadron.

Air Force conducts successful hypersonic weapon test

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. (AFNS) — A U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress successfully released an AGM-183A Air-launched Rapid Response Weapon off the Southern California coast. The ARRW is designed to enable the U.S. to hold fixed, high-value, time-sensitive targets at risk in contested environments from stand-off distances.

Pararescuemen from various units around the country arrived at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., May 6, 2020, working with 45th Operations Group, Detachment 3 personnel and mission partners in the weeks leading up to the return to human spaceflight.
