JTF-SD completes collaborative SACT

SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — Joint Task Force-Space Defense completed its first 2021 Sprint Advanced Concept Training series that featured increased collaboration with sister component Combined Forces Space Component Command/Combined Space Operations Center on April 9.

USSPACECOM Commander’s Conference: Leaders discuss protection, defense of space domain

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson hosted a conference March 30-31 gathering his primary and special staff, component commands, national agency representatives and other key leaders to discuss issues important to U.S. Space Command.

On March 11, the U.S. Air Force named First Air Force as the air component to U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM). Last week, starting with two visits to bases in Colorado, the 1AF team became actively engaged in learning more about the potential of its new role and expanded responsibilities.
