Space missions support whole-of-government approach during COVID-19 pandemic

John "Jay" Raymond, Chief of Space Operations, United States Space Force and Commander, United States Space Command, said Friday the U.S. Space Force and U.S. Space Command are maintaining all mission requirements and capabilities despite the expanding scope of COVID-19 and the aggressive actions necessary to shield personnel from the disease.

Army SMDC commander discusses integration in space, missile defense

The Army’s senior air defender discussed current and future developments in space and missile defense during the 25th annual Air, Space and Missile Defense Association luncheon Feb. 25. Lt. Gen. Daniel L. Karbler, commanding general, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, delivered the luncheon’s keynote speech, addressing the importance of space and missile defense capabilities and furthering them through integration of systems and staff.

Combined Space Operations initiative welcomes France and Germany

The Principals’ Board for the Combined Space Operations initiative came together in Ottawa, Canada, for its annual meeting this week to formally recognize the addition of France and Germany to the CSpO initiative. Participants also discussed the current and future space environment; coordinated policy, global operations and capabilities; and addressed challenges and opportunities that have arisen in the previous year.
