USSPACECOM hosts NNSA Principal Deputy Administrator

U.S. Space Command

U.S. Space Force Gen. Stephen Whiting, U.S. Space Command commander, welcomed National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Principal Deputy Administrator, Frank Rose, to Colorado Springs, Colorado, April 2, 2024. During the visit, PDA Rose and Gen. Whiting discussed mutual NNSA and USSPACECOM priorities in advancing integrated defense and deterrence, and the enduring relationship between NNSA and the Department of Defense’s combatant commands. Gen. Whiting underscored USSPACECOM’s mission, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
