U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. John Shaw, U.S. Space Command deputy commander, discussed bilateral partnerships and reaffirmed the importance of space cooperation between the United States and our allies and partners during Space Symposium 37, Colorado Springs, Colorado, April 4-7, 2022. International partnerships serve to improve coordination and interoperability to maintain freedom of action in space, optimize resources, and enhance mission assurance and resilience. Space Symposium is an opportunity for spacefaring nations and sectors of the space enterprise to promote dialogue and focus attention on critical space issues.
