NOTE: The list above is NOT all inclusive and anyone can discuss any topic with the IG. The IG will assist to evaluate and determine the best and most appropriate resolution strategy.


In accordance with Joint Inspector General Guidance, “The Joint IG will encourage the military or civilian employee to discuss complaints, allegations or requests for assistance first with the commander, chain of command or supervisor. If the complainant does not wish to do so, the Joint IG will accept the Joint IG Action Request. If specific redress procedures are available, the Joint IG will teach and train the complainant on using the appropriate, formally established redress process and refer him or her to that process.”
