Campaigning with Commercial
Campaigning with Commercial TTX Opportunity

USSPACECOM will host its second Tabletop Exercise in Colorado Springs at The Aerospace Corporation on June 24, 2026. This event supports General Whiting's designation of 2026 as the "Year of Integration" by enhancing collaboration with our Commercial Mission Partners and FVEY partners in the Command’s campaign planning.  The exercise will align with USSPACECOM's commercial integration strategy by focusing on the Identify & Advocate for commercial capabilities line of effort.

This event will be held at the TS-SCI//SI//TK/REL FVEY security level.

The theme for this TTX is Maneuver Warfare. This event will take a focused look at maneuver warfare concepts applied against prominent space threats, examining how these concepts can be operationalized within a contested orbital regime. Participants will explore how commercial, industry, and Allied partners can enable these approaches and help challenge traditional methods of operating in space. This TTX iteration will employ targeted scenarios designed to drive specific outcomes and deepen collective understanding.

Registration opens April 13, 2026, and closes May 15, 2026. Commercial companies with eligible clearances (TS/SCI) may register at the following link: https://usspacecomprotocol.regfox.com/usspacecom-apollo-insight-ttx-2. The TTX Call Message is also attached here, which provides additional details and registration requirements.

USSPACECOM will share additional information during our virtual Commercial Integration Working Group (CIWG) meetings, which occur on the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. MST. If your U.S. commercial company is interested in joining these meetings, please email a request to usspacecom.j811.commercial.integration@us.af.mil.

What we do

Space impacts virtually every aspect of our daily lives.  The space security environment is at a critical juncture, and commercial industry has played an increasingly prominent role in providing space capabilities for national security.  U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) seeks to leverage commercial capabilities to achieve our goals of mitigating capability gaps, improving space architecture resiliency, and gaining and maintaining technological advances over our competitors.

The USSPACECOM Capability and Resource Integration Directorate (J8) advocates for capabilities and funding in support of the Command’s mission requirements.  The U.S. commercial sector is driving technological advancements that provide our Nation, Allies, and partners a distinct advantage over our competitors.  Our imperative is to pursue solutions that deter and overcome any threat to space and space-based capabilities.  Many of these solutions are found in the partnerships we forge with commercial industry.

The J8’s Commercial Integration Branch is responsible for engaging with industry, implementing the USSPACECOM Commercial Integration Strategy, and facilitating integration of commercial capabilities into ongoing operations to enable USSPACECOM objectives.  The Branch’s Industry Engagement Team is the point of entry and interface for informing industry of USSPACECOM priorities, coordinating engagements with the Command’s senior leaders, and performing outreach with industry partners.
