Brig. Gen. Eric Little, U.S. Space Command deputy operations director, speaks with nearly 50 participants to kickoff the command’s Joint Fires Exercise Rehearsal in Colorado Springs, Colorado, June 25, 2024. The rehearsal refines the command’s methodology to prioritize, plan, execute, and assess space-based and terrestrial targeting. Additionally, the rehearsal is also part of the EXERCISE APOLLO GRIFFIN life cycle, USSPACECOM’s training event to strengthen the command’s collaboration with its joint and allied partners. U.S. Space Command, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
