USSPACECOM servicemember dies in accident

U.S. Space Command

A servicemember assigned to U.S. Space Command died from injuries sustained from an off-base single vehicle motorcycle accident in El Paso County Sept. 30, 2023.

U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant William J. Sutter of Navarre, Fla., served as a non-commissioned officer in charge of target systems analysis in the command’s intelligence directorate.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of William. He was an incredibly valuable member of our team and will be missed by all who had the honor to serve alongside him.” said U.S. Army General James Dickinson, Commander of U.S. Space Command. “Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with his family, friends and coworkers.”

USSPACECOM and Peterson Space Force Base helping agencies are available to assist those in need.
