U.S. Space Command and the Australian Defence Space Command signed an enhanced space cooperation memorandum of understanding (ESC MOU), April 20, 2023.

U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson, USSPACECOM commander, and Royal Australian Air Force Air Vice-Marshal Catherine Roberts, commander of the Australian Defence Space Command, signed the agreement at Space Symposium 38 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The ESC MOU is a non-legally binding framework for deepened military cooperation in the space domain.
