Runners honor 'Mose,' other fallen service members

By Joint Task Force-Space Defense Public Affairs Joint Task Force-Space Defense

The Colorado Run for the fallen took participants through Peterson Space Force Base on Sept. 10. Runners, including some from U.S. Space Command's Joint Task Force-Space Defense, honored 115 fallen service members along the route. One of those was U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Harold "Mose" Mosely II, who was assigned to then-Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, at the time of his death in November 2018.

JTF-SD's operations floor at Schriever Space Force Base is named after Mosely.

Colorado Run for the Fallen was a three-day, more-than-100-mile event from Fort Carson, Colorado, to Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Participants run specific miles for every Colorado fallen service member who died during the War on Terror.
