Sgt. Maria Alvarez discusses her role as an Occupational Therapy Specialist. Part of the 98th Combat Stress Control, Alvarez is deployed to support Navy personnel in Eagle Pass, Texas, as part of the Department of Defense's response to COVID-19. As part of its commitment to resiliency, U.S. Army North deployed several religious support and behavioral health teams throughout Texas. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-America COVID-19 response.
