USSPACECOM hosts Keystone Event
Chief Master Sgt. Jacob Simmons, U.S. Space Command command senior enlisted leader, speaks to approximately 40 fellows from National Defense University’s Keystone course in Colorado Springs, Colorado, June 9, 2025. During his remarks, Simmons emphasized that success in space requires unified effort, and failure is certain without it. During the Keystone course, senior enlisted leaders–serving or preparing to serve at the general of flag officer level–were briefed on USSPACECOM’s mission and capabilities to support joint warfighters. USSPACECOM works with senior leaders across the Department of Defense and our allies to foster a warfighting culture and promote professional growth, which is instrumental to the rapidly advancing capabilities of the Joint Force.
