GEN WHITING KEYNOTE
International liaison and exchange officers from Multinational Force – Operation OLYMPIC DEFENDER member nations stand to receive recognition during U.S. Space Command Commander Gen. Stephen Whiting’s keynote at the 40th Annual Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado, April 8, 2025. During his remarks, Whiting highlighted the significant strides MNF-OOD has made towards operationalizing, including the first MNF-OOD concept of operations. He also announced that MNF-OOD has reached initial operational capability with seven member nations: the U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
