Lt. Cmdr. Blair Kuplic, U.S. Space Command Chief of National Security Law, moderates a panel discussion titled, “Military Space Operations as an International Team Sport” during the USSPACECOM 5th Annual Legal Conference at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Feb. 27, 2025. Focusing on this year’s theme, “Space Law in the Decisive Decade,” the three-day hybrid event brought together approximately 520 participants, in-person and online, from the U.S. military, intergovernmental agencies, academia, and the commercial space sector to discuss space cooperation. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
