USSPACECOM hosts Japanese Deputy Director General

During the three-day visit, they held US-Japan Staff Talks, discussing cooperation in the space domain, as well as land, maritime and air domains, and agreed on a direction to advance these efforts. Japan is also a member of the Combined Space Operations Initiative – a group of ten nations that work together to promote the responsible and lawful use of space. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
