USSPACECOM, Brazilian Air Force Sign Liaison Officer Agreement
U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Brian Gibson, U.S. Space Command strategy, plans and policy director, signs a Memorandum of Agreement for a liaison officer with Maj. Gen. Eric Cólen, Brazilian Space Operations Center commander, during the 39th Annual Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado, April 11, 2024. This agreement builds upon the relationship with Brazil and emphasizes the importance of South American nations to the space domain. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
