USSPACECOM Hosts Fourth Annual Legal Conference
The Hon. Caroline Krass, U.S. Department of Defense general counsel, speaks to the USSPACECOM 4th Annual Legal Conference attendees at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., March. 5, 2024. Focusing on this year’s theme of “Space Futures: The Legal Implications of Space Operations in GEO and Beyond,” the three-day hybrid event hosted approximately 300 participants representing the U.S. military, intergovernmental agencies, academia, and the commercial space sector to foster discussions on space cooperation. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
