USSPACECOM Leaders Host SEAC
Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Sgt. Maj. Troy E. Black visited U.S. Space Command headquarters, Peterson Space Force Base, Colo., Dec. 19, 2023. Black held an open discussion for senior enlisted leaders during his visit where he opened the discussion focusing on today’s threats and how the National Defense Strategy forces us to change our mindset in how the threat is approached. Expanding on his specific roles as the SEAC, compared to his time as the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Black discussed the increased responsibility his advice carries with direct access to the Secretary of Defense and Congress, while also adding the process for change is not done overnight.
