U.S. Space Command deputy director of strategy, plans, and policy U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Jesse Morehouse speaks with Japanese Air Self-Defense Force Chief of Staff Gen. Shunji Izutsu during Defense and Security Equipment International Japan 2023, a large-scale, fully integrated defense conference featuring attendees from over 65 nations. While at DSEI, Morehouse spoke on a panel focused on security and international cooperation in space. He was also joined on the panel by U.K. Space Command commander Air Vice Marshall Paul Godfrey, and moderator, Japanese Lt. Gen. (retired) Jun Nagashima. USSPACECOM, in coordination with Allies, the Joint force, and inter-agency partners, conduct combined space operations to protect our combined interests and secure critical capabilities.
