U.S. Space Command deputy director of strategy, plans, and policy U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Jesse Morehouse speaks on a panel during Defense and Security Equipment International Japan 2023, a large-scale, fully integrated defense conference featuring attendees from over 65 nations. The panel was focused on security and international cooperation in space, and Morehouse focused on USSPACECOM’s commitment to a growing network of allies and partners. He was also joined on the panel by U.K. Space Command commander Air Vice Marshall Paul Godfrey, and moderator, Japanese Lt. Gen. (retired) Jun Nagashima. USSPACECOM, working with Allies and Partners, plans, executes, and integrates military spacepower into multi-domain global operations in order to deter aggression, defend national interests, and when necessary, defeat threats.
