Global Sentinel 2022 participants from the Germany Space Situational Awareness Centre monitor, track and assess a simulated anti-satellite weapon attack along with resulting space debris during the seventh and final day of Global Sentinel 2022 at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., Aug. 2, 2022. Day seven’s scenario focused on space surveillance and tracking, providing platforms to determine best courses of action in space domain efforts. Global Sentinel is U.S. Space Command’s single largest multinational event to strengthen partnerships with other space-faring nations to promote cooperation and safe, secure space operations.
