USSPACECOM hosts the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy
U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson, U.S. Space Command commander, greets Dr. John Plumb, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy, June 29, 2022, at USSPACECOM headquarters, Peterson Space Force Base, Colo. During his visit Plumb received briefs on the current state of threats to the space domain, an overview of USSPACECOM operational plans, and challenges related to space warfighting. USSPACECOM conducts operations in, from, and to space to deter conflict, and if necessary, defeat aggression, deliver space combat power for the joint and command force, and defend U.S. vital interests with allies and partners.
