Submariners visit SPACECOM
U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Michael Bernacchi, U.S. Space Command, director of strategy, plans, and policy, hosted Sailors assigned to the Virginia class submarine USS Colorado (SSN 788), June 7, 2022, at USSPACECOM headquarters Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado. During their visit the Sailors were given the USSPACECOM mission brief. USSPACECOM enables U.S. and allied militaries to use space systems to connect, warn, guide and inform decisions to ensure that there is never a day without space.
