USSPACECOM’S Spring Commander’s Conference
U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson, U.S. Space Command Commander, welcomes attendees to the 2022 Spring Commander’s Conference, May 3, 2022, at Peterson Space Force Base, Colo. For the first time since the series began in 2020, USSPACECOM invited its allied counterparts to attend the event and provide an update on the status of their respective space commands. Dickinson hosts the semi-annual conference to align the collective understanding of the space domain’s trajectory – from human exploration to Cislunar and beyond. Attendees discuss current threat observations to better prepare for the future and hear from subject matter experts who challenge existing theories about space to spur breakthroughs for expanded integration among commercial, interagency and international partners. The objective of the semi-annual Commander’s Conference is to communicate the Commander’s vision and intent to his senior leadership team, and to provide a forum for strategic-level exchange of ideas between the command’s leadership and invited subject matter experts from USSPACECOM’s interagency and international partners and various scholars.
