USSPACECOM hosts Inaugural Joint Space Medicine Forum
U.S. Air Force Col. Ingrid Ford, U.S. Space Command command surgeon, addresses attendees of the inaugural Joint Space Medicine Forum, April 27, 2022, at Peterson Space Force Base, Colo. Ford spoke to the participants about the importance of creating a common vernacular for space medicine, sharing expertise on the domain and developing a network of medical experts in the space community. USSPACECOM collaborates with academic institutions to assist, analyze and develop recommendations and potential solutions to complex challenges in the space domain. James Dickinson, U.S. Space Command command and MGySgt Scott Stalker, USSPACECOM senior enlisted leader along with their spouses wish "Happy Holidays" to service women and men and their families. USSPACECOM is the 11th Combatant Command with space professionals around the globe keeping an eye to infinity for the defense of the United States and it's allies and partners.
