During his time with the Schriever Space Scholars, Shaw discussed topics such as space as a service component to combatant commands, space as a global integrator and U.S. Space Force Guardian manpower. USSPACECOM was established as the 11th combatant command to deliver space effects to the warfighter and protect and defend the space domain.
