Scholars from the Belfer Center of Harvard University- Kennedy School of Government, the RAND Corporation, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Secure World Foundation, and U.S. Space Command leaders during the J-3 Deterrence Conference on April 12, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The conference centered on understanding the lessons of nuclear deterrence and applying them to the space domain. USSPACECOM conducts operations in, from, and to space to deter conflict, and if necessary, defeat aggression, deliver space combat power for the joint and combined force, and defend U.S. vital interests.
