USSPACECOM hosts German Air Force Operations Center, German Space Command commanders
U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Michael Bernacchi, U.S. Space Command director of Strategy, Plans and Policy, greets German Air Force MajGen Michael Traut, German Space Command, during a German delegation visit, Nov. 3, 2021, at USSPACECOM headquarters. U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson, USSPACECOM commander, met with German Air Force LtGen Klaus Habersetzer, Air Operations Command commander, and Traut, to reaffirm the importance of space cooperation between the United States and Germany. Officials from each organization traded mission briefings, and USSPACECOM provided Habersetzer and Traut briefings on threats to the space domain, strategic partnerships and global space operations.
