USSPACECOM hosts Australian Chief of Joint Operations
U.S. Navy Capt. Erik Thors, U.S. Space Command's chief of strategic engagements directorate, greets Australian Army Lt. Gen. Gregory Bilton, Chief of Joint Operations, during a visit to USSPACECOM headquarters Nov. 1, 2021. Senior USSPACECOM leaders briefed Bilton on threats to the space domain and discussed additional areas to enhance strategic partnerships. USSPACECOM conducts operations in, from, and to space to deter conflict, and if necessary, defeat aggression, deliver space combat power for the Joint and Combined force, and defend U.S. vital interests with allies and partners.
