USSPACECOM continues to make history with senior enlisted leader change of responsibility
U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott Stalker accepts the U.S. Space Command colors from U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson, USSPACECOM commander, Aug. 28, 2020, during a change of responsibility for the combatant command at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Stalker assumed responsibility as USSPACECOM’s command senior enlisted leader from U.S. Space Force Chief Master Sgt. Roger Towberman during the ceremony. Due to heightened health precautions leaders did not do a traditional passing of the colors during the ceremony. Instead, the colors entrusted to Command Sgt. Maj. Eric McCray, USSPACECOM Commandant.
