USSTRATCOM, Polish Space Agency sign agreement to share space services, data
Michal Szaniawski, acting president of the Polish Space Agency, signs an agreement for space situational awareness (SSA) services and data sharing with U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) as U.S. Air Force Col. Christopher Eagan (left), chief of Policy Division, USSTRATCOM, and U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Deanna Burt, director of Operations and Communications, U.S. Air Force Space Command, witnessed the signing. Szaniawski signed the agreement as part of a larger effort to support spaceflight planning and enhance the safety, stability and sustainability of space operations. Poland joins 18 nations, two intergovernmental organizations, and 77 commercial satellite owners, operators, launchers already participating in SSA data-sharing agreements with USSTRATCOM.
