Cosmodrome Liftoff

The Soyuz MS-11 spacecraft launches from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Dec. 3, 2018, carrying Soyuz Commander Oleg Kononenko from Russia’s space agency; Army Lt. Col. Anne McClain for NASA; and flight engineer David Saint-Jacques of Canada’s space agency into orbit to begin a six-month mission on the International Space Station.
