Nordhaus, commander, Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region — First Air Force (Air Forces Northern and Air Forces Space) accepts the 1 AF guidon from Gen. Mark Kelly, commander of Air Combat Command, during a Change of Command ceremony March 31, 2023, Tyndall AFB, Fla. Kelly, along with Gen. James H. Dickinson, commander, U.S. Space Command, and Gen. Glen VanHerck, North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command officiated the CONR- 1 AF (AFNORTH & AFSPACE) Change of Command.
